pairs, etc.) on the machine other than those

Thermal Print Head
When dust adheres to the Thermal Print Head,
the screen may not be correctly perforated ac-
cording to the original data and graphics or text
may be missing or blur.
Gently rub the heat emitting part of the Thermal
Print Head with a cotton bud, etc. dampened
with alcohol to remove the dust.
y Before cleaning the machine, turn the power
switch off and give the Thermal Print Head
sufficient time to cool.
y Since the Thermal Print Head is very deli-
cate, avoid shocks or scratches with a hard
object.
y The Thermal Print Head may be dam-
aged by static electricity. Be sure to re-
move the static electricity in your body
before cleaning the Thermal Print Head.
Do not touch the Thermal Print Head except
when cleaning it.
y Do not use highly-soluble organic solvents
such as thinner and benzene for cleaning.
