To fix the incline issue on your True Fitness 450 Series treadmill that is stuck on high, follow these steps:

1. Check Incline Cables: Ensure that the incline cables are securely connected to the PWM unit.
2. Verify Lower Limit Switch (LLS):
- Check if the lower limit switch is properly connected to the PWM.
- Disconnect the LLS wire from the PWM and short the two posts of the connector using an alligator clip.
- Cycle the power. If the treadmill lowers itself, replace the lower limit switch.
3. Calibrate Incline Potentiometer: Perform the incline potentiometer calibration procedure (refer to page 16 of the manual).
4. Inspect Incline Nut: If the incline nut is stripped, replace it.

These steps should resolve the issue of the treadmill being stuck at full incline.

My True 450 soft just started making rhythmic thumping sound whether I'm on it or not. Everything else seems to work fine, speed, incline etc.
