DAMAGEFROMHEAT-FIREHAZARD Donotleavethecamerainplacesthataresusceptibletoconsiderablein creasesintemperature(e.g.avehicle).Thehousingandinternalparts maybedamaged,whichinturncouldcauseafire. Donotwrapupcameraorplaceontextiles.Thiscouldproduceabuild upofheatinthecamerathatcancausedeformationofthehousingand mayrepresentafirehazard. INJURIESANDMATERIALDAMAGE Onlyplacethecameraonsturdysurfaces.Thecameracouldotherwise fallortoppleover,causingdamageorinjury. Donotoperatethecamerawhilstrunningordriving.Youcouldfallor causeatrafficaccident. Switchoffthecameraandopenasdescribedinsection6.1. Priortoinsertingthememorycardensurethatthelateralwriteprotectionon thememorycardhasnotbeenactivated(seefigure). Ifthecameradisplays"Cardprotected",removethememorycardandchange thepositionofthememoryprotection. Insertthememorycardasshownintheadjacentillustration.Pushthe memorycardintocompartmentuntilitclicksintoplace. Toremovethememorycardpushcardinagainuntilitispartlyejected.
