Software/Hardware Issues

PROBLEM
Operating system fails to start.
BIOS screen error is displayed or
beeping is heard emanating from
instrument.
Operating system boots up but
RoboSep™-S fails to fully initialize
RoboSep™-S software application
fails to start
RoboSep™-S won't shut down
RoboSep™-S won't resume a
paused run
Cannot add protocols in the My
Protocols tab
Touchscreen not functioning

POTENTIAL CAUSE
RAM disconnected or Operating
System software corruption
Power switch (front of instrument)
not left off long enough after
shutdown. It takes up to 10 seconds
for the electronics to fully reset after
the power switch has been turned
off.
Ethernet cable is connected
Previous run not complete or needs
to be unloaded
The lid is open
Protocols are assigned to a quadrant
Physical damage to screen or
recalibration problem


SOLUTION
Copy any error messages
displayed and contact Technical
Support
After shutdown, turn off the power
switch and count to 10 before
turning the power back on again
Disconnect Ethernet cable and
restart the instrument. If issue
persists, contact Technical Support.
Let run finish. Press unload button
on the Run Progress screen.
Close the lid and press Resume on
the touchscreen
Remove protocols assigned to any
quadrant and then add protocols to
a user profile (section 4.2.1)
