The Ubbi diaper pail is maintenance free and shouldn't be cleaned. If you
need to clean it, simply use a dry cloth. The Ubbi diaper pail is made of
steel and is airtight so it cannot be cleaned with liquids of any sort such
as vinegar, bleach, other harsh abrasives or even water. The Ubbi diaper
pail is equipped with rust-proof bolts and is powder coated to prevent
rust from occurring but liquid could potentially infiltrate in the seams where
the pail might not have adhered which could develop into mold and then
rust. Additionally, the Ubbi diaper pail is completely airtight, so using liquid
to clean it might create condensation that will transform into mold and
eventually rust. In the event that liquid is used to clean the Ubbi diaper pail,
