    About Your Water Cooler Control Panel After installation and powering on the unit, allow 5 minutes for the water to fill inside the machine. After 5 minutes, you will need to hold down the dispense button for 1 minute for both hot and cold water in order for water to dispense when using the machine for the first time as the water needs to be siphoned into the hot and cold tanks.

This also helps prevent any bacteria from building up inside the machine. The UV will turn on and off automatically and this indicator will let you know when it is sanitizing.
