- Page 3 File drawer removal When removing file drawers from pedestal, the cradle assembly must be removed with the drawer at the same time. Store drawer on the front face to prevent grease damage on carpet. To re-install, file drawer must be seated into cradle assembly then re-installed into pedestal.

Installation of lock bar into pedestal Assemble inner lock bar tabs into slot located at the top and bottom of pedestal. Bend locking tab out in direction of arrows thus securing the lock bar in place. NOTE: A lock bar assembly is shown being installed into a left hand pedestal and is typical for a right hand all pedestals. - Page 5 Assemble lock, cam, onto lock cylinder with sims screw. Insert curved ends of lock actuator rods into lock cam. With the small indentation on lock cylinder facing upward, extend actuator lock rod out above pedestal side behind the desk top’s front brace and secure with (2) #10 x 3/4” flat head screws.
- Page 6 Assemble inner lock bar tabs into slot located at the top and bottom of pedestal. Bend locking tab out in direction of arrows thus securing the lock bar in place. Insert hooked end of lock rod into hole on top end of lock bar. Insert other end of lock rod into lock rod retainer.
- Page 7 Remove right hand hex bolt holding pedestal to desk top. Position security bracket to pedestal and secure in place with the same hex bolt. Insert key into lock and turn from an unlocked position. Reach up inside of pedestal with your hand and pinch spring together in direction of arrows.

(For 60” wide wing-units only) When (2) pedestals are placed next to each other with the side DIM. “X” TYPE OF UNIT of one pedestal directly below lock tumbler place angle lock guard on pedestal and secure with (2) #8 screws. 8-5/8”... - Page 9 Slip bottom and rear flanges on lock rod cover support under return tabs on left end of lock rod cover. BOTTOM AND REAR FLANGED ON LOCK ROD SUPPORT RETURN TABS ON LEFT HAND END OF LOCK ROD COVER Determine the proper hole pattern at the right end of lock rod cover for your model desk.
- Page 10 Reinstalling case channels and files drawers into pedestals Reverse Step 3 on page of these directions and replace case channels back into pedestals. Place file drawer runner onto cradle suspension. Slide drawer in until it stops. Raise up slightly on drawer head to allow drawer stops to pass the cradle stops.
