PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT
Replacing a rear turn signal
light bulb
1. Remove the turn signal lens by re-
moving the screws.
1. Screw
2. Remove the burnt-out bulb by
pushing it in and turning it counter-

clockwise.
3. Insert a new bulb into the socket,
push it in, and then turn it clock-
wise until it stops.
4. Install the lens by installing the
screws. NOTICE: Do not over-
tighten the screws, otherwise
the lens may break.

1. Remove the license plate light cov-
er by removing the bolts.

2. Bolt
2. Pull the license plate light unit up
as shown.

i cant see the coolant tank or where to add coolant on 2009 yamaha v-star 1300

@Thomas G Dean SR if it's the same as my 2014 vstar 1300 it is under the right passenger foot peg is where u access it u will need a funnel and the main reservoir is below that to see how full it is.
