Ovnens ben monteres med de medfølgende bolte og herefter sættes ovnen omhyggeligt på plads. Det anbefales at være to mand til dette arbejde, da ovnen er tung at håndtere ene. MORSØ 1010 vejer 70 kg. 1.2 Opstilling af ovnen Man skal være opmærksom på nationale og lokale bestemmelser vedrørende opstilling af brændeovne. -

En moderne effektiv ovn stiller større krav til Deres skorsten. Lad derfor skorstensfejeren vurdere skorstenen. Skorstenens lysning skal følge de nationale og lokale bestemmelser. 1.7 Tilslutning til muret skorsten I væggen fastmures en røgrørsbøsning, og røgrøret føres ind i denne. Røret må ikke stikkes ind i selve skorstensåbningen, men kun gå til den indvendige side af skorstenslysningen. Samlingerne ved ovn/ rør og rør/murbøsning skal tætnes med glassnor. Normalt behøver man ikke tætne mellem evt. rør- samlinger. -

1.9 Trækforhold Hvis der kommer røg ud af ovnen, når fyrdøren åbnes, skyldes det dårligt skortstenstræk. Der kræves, for denne ovntype, et skorstenstræk på mindst 12 PA for at afgive tilfredsstil- lende forbrænding og forhindre røgudslip. Der vil dog være risiko for røgudslip, hvis ovndø- ren åbnes under meget kraftig fyring. -

2.0 Fyringsteknik/Brugen af Deres ovn Ovnens varmeafgivelse reguleres med 2 trækventiler. Primær lufttilførsel, hvor luften pas- serer gennem rysteristen, betjenes med nederste trækventil, og den sekundære lufttilfør- sel, der tilføres forbrændingen over glasset betjenes, med den øverste trækventil. 2.1 Optænding og fyringsintervaller Under optænding er der behov for en stor luftmængde. Startes der op med en helt kold ovn, kan man med fordel lade døren stå på klem de første minutter og åbne den sekundære luft- tilførsel på max. - øverste ventil. Under dårlige trækforhold kan lidt primær luft gennem ri- sten lette optændingen;... - Page 11 5. Normal påfyring bør ske, mens der endnu er gløder til- bage. Fordel gløderne i bunden, dog flest foran i ovnen. 6. Der lægges 2-3 stykker brænde à ca. 0,5 kg og ca. 25 cm lange ind over gløderne i ét lag med en afstand på ca. 1 cm mellem træstykkerne.
- Page 12 Normalt skal ovndøren altid åbnes roligt de første 2-3 centimeter, og man skal vente til tryk- ket er udlignet inden døren åbnes helt. På denne måde undgås eventuelle røggener specielt i forbindelse med dårlige trækforhold. Åbn aldrig ovndøren under voldsom fyring. Når træet er brændt ud, er det omdannet til glødende trækul.

3.0 Regelmæssig vedligeholdelse af ovnen 3.1. Udvendig vedligeholdelse Ovnens overflade er malet med en varmebestandig senotherm maling. Den holder sig pæ- nest, hvis den blot støvsuges med et blødt mundstykke eller aftørres med en tør fnugfri klud. Den malede overflade kan med tiden, ved for kraftig fyring, få et gråligt skær; men ovnen kan let opfriskes med en Morsø... -

1.5 The chimney Only if National or Local Regulations permit are you permitted to connect a stove into a chim- ney that is shared by another appliance. YOU MUST be aware of any applicable Regulations in this respect. The wood-burning stove must never been connected to a chimney to which a gas-burning stove or ap- pliance is connected. - Page 23 1.7 Connecting the stove to a masonry chimney A wall sleeve should be bricked securely into the wall of the chimney at the appropriate height and the stovepipe inserted centrally. The pipe must not extend into the actual chimney ope- ning, but rather must reach only to the inside of the chimney aperture.

1.9 Draft conditions If smoke spillage occurs when the fire door is opened, it is probably due to poor chimney draft. This type of stove requires at least 12 pa of chimney draft to achieve satisfactory com- bustion and smoke spillage prevention. However, in cases where the stove door is opened too vigorously you could expect that slight smoke spillage may occur. - Page 25 2.0 Firing the stove/Using your stove The heat output of your stove is regulated by means of the air inlets. The primary air supply, i.e. the air which passes through the shaking grate, is controlled by the bottom draft vent, while the secondary air supply, i.e.
- Page 26 2.1 Lighting and refuelling intervals A lot of air is needed when first lighting the stove. When starting with a totally cold stove, it may be helpful to leave the door ajar (2-3 cm) during the first few minutes; the secondary air intake, - the upper valve should be fully open.
- Page 27 5. Refuelling of your stove should be done while there are still glowing embers in the bed. Spread the embers across the bottom, but concentrated mostly towards the front of the stove. 6. Place three pieces of fuel weighing roughly 0.6 kg and measuring about 25 cm in length across the coals in one layer, with spacing of roughly 1 cm between the pieces of wood.
- Page 28 The stove door should normally be opened gently the first 2 - 3 centimetres, then you should wait until the pressure has equalised before opening the door all the way. This technique will prevent smoke from getting out, particularly when there is a poor draught. The stove door should never be opened when the stove is being fired vigorously.

3.0 Routine stove maintenance 3.1 External maintenance The surface of the stove is painted with heat-resistant Senotherm paint. If the stove is used too vigorously, the painted surface may take-on a greyish tinge. - Page 32 IMPORTANT! How to heat safely for the environ- ment and yourself! • Use only dry wood Use only dry (max. 20% moisture content) and untreated wood. The fuel must be split and 8 - 12 cm thick. • Light Light with dry kindling (use 1 - 2 kg). Leave the door ajar and stay close to the stove during the lighting phase.
