  • Page 144 Please use drop-prevention wire and 1 pc fixing screw(M4 P0.7) to fix the wire on POS when installing the POS on a wall. For drop-prevention wire, please use stainless wire rope with nylon coating and its spec should afford net weight over 5 times of the amount of POS machine (including optional module) and mounting bracket.
  • Page 145 Sample of Drop-prevention wire is as follows. The strength of pull-out force of portion of caulking must be 392N (40kgf) or more. POS Main Unit has exhaust outlet (for hot air) and fresh air inlet (for cool air). If exhaust and intake air recirculated, POS internal temperature will be higher and this increases the risk of negatively affecting operation.
  • Page 146 Good example Install POS in area or enclosure where intake of fresh, cooler only is possible. Install POS in area or enclosure where exhaust air is expelled away from device and enclosure. Any enclosure must consist of heavily perforated material(s) and/or incorporate large vents or ducting for fresh air only intake and exhausting warmer air away from POS.
