The Speedwire data module is a Speedwire communication interface for the Sunny Island. Speedwire is a cable-based type of communication based on the Ethernet standard and the communication protocol SMA Data2+. This enables inverter-optimized 10/100 Mbit data transmission between Speedwire devices in PV systems. - Page 10 You will find further information on increased self-consumption with the Sunny Home Manager and Sunny Island in the Planning Guidelines "Sunny Island/Sunny Home Manager" at www.SMA-Solar.com.
