5 Inserting the SIM Card

To prevent damage to the STB or the SIM card：
Do not insert or remove the SIM card when STB is powered on.

Do not frequently insert or remove the smart card.

Step 1 Record the serial number that appears in the back of your SIM card.
Step 2 Call the local service providers to activate the service.
Step 3 Insert the SIM card.
Insert the SIM card with the metal chip facing downwards into the SIM card slot of
the STB.
