Faults, causes and remedies

Fertiliser lateral distribution not
uniform
Too much fertiliser in the tractor

Cause
Fertiliser deposits on the spread-
ing discs and the spreading
vanes.
Sliders do not open all the way.
Prescribed spreading disc speed
is not reached.
Spreading vanes and outlets
defective or worn.
The spreading properties of your
fertiliser differ from those of the
one we tested when creating the
setting chart.
Prescribed spreading disc speed
is exceeded.

Bridging of fertiliser.
System converting bolt on the
hydraulic block is incorrectly set
Fluid quantity not reduced

Remedy
Clean the spreading discs and
the spreading vanes.
Increase tractor engine speed.
Check the spreading vanes and
outlets. Replaced defective or
worn parts immediately.
