Installing the Processor Heat Sink
1. Put the heat sink on the CPU.
The direction to install the heat sink is predetermined.
Check the direction of the heat sink when installing it.

2. Secure the heat sink with four screws.
Temporarily tighten the four screws in the order shown in the image below, as forming a
diagonal cross, and then, tighten them securely.
3. Make sure that the heat sink is level with the mother board.
■ If the heat sink is not level, remove it once, and then install it again.
Notice
■ Do not move the device by holding the secured heat sink.

The following may be the cause of the heat sink not being level:
- The CPU is not positioned correctly.
- All screws are not completely tightened.
