To open the bonnet (hood) on a Lexus RX450h, follow these steps:

1. Inside the vehicle, pull the interior hood release latch.
2. Go to the front of the vehicle and locate the safety latch under the hood.
3. Release the safety latch to fully open the hood.

If the hood does not pop up after pulling the interior latch:
- Pull up on the hood while pulling the interior latch.
- Alternatively, pull the interior latch and gently bang on the hood to try to release it.

If the hood still won't open, the hood release cable may be broken. In that case, use a coat hanger through the grille to release the latch manually.
