ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED WITH THE BOAT
Dry bag 135 l, 2 compression straps to hold down the packed
boat, user manual with warranty sheet, foam sponge, repair kit
containing glue and patches, valve reduction, 1+1 pcs of spare
bolts with plastic nuts, plastic holder for fi shing rods.
3. Inflation Instructions
Unfold the boat. Put the fl oor board (27) onto the bottom in
order to make it rigid.
Use 4 pcs of longer bolts and plastic nuts to fi x the engine atta-
chment transom (19) into its fi xtures (21). Afterwards, attach
the apron with fl exible rope (23) into the apron fi xtures (22)
– see detail B.
Slide the wooden seat (9) into the fi xtures (36) on the bottom
side of the infl atable seat (26) – see detail D. Afterwards, in-
fl ate the seat (screw valve infl ation – see fi g. 2). Use bolts and
plastic nuts to fi x the wooden seat (9) to the cylinder fi xtures
(10) – see detail A.
Thanks to the openings (33), the wooden seats (9) can be
used to attach fi shing accessories.
Attach the infl atable seat rest (26) to the interlaces of the stra-
ps (34) using the fi xtures with plastic snap rings (29) on the
side cylinders – see detail E.
Multiple variants of seating can be created for this boat – see
fi g. 1a, 1b and 1c.
Infl ate the air chambers in sequence:
The bottom (1) and then the side cylinders (2). Use a foot
pump or piston pump with a valve adaptor for infl ating - see
Figure 2b (the adaptor is included in the glue set). Check the
condition of the valves before infl ating. Set the valves in the
OFF position. Valve handling - Refer to Fig. 2. Infl ate the air
chambers to the stipulated service pressure. To identify the co-
rrect value of operational pressure, use a pressure gauge with
the corresponding adapter (optional accessory) – see fi g. 2a.
The valve assembly wrench – see fi g. 2c – is an optional acce-
ssory. Below the front board, there will be space for baggage,
which you can secure against falling out with the fl exible rope
with snap hooks (16). The outboard engine is mounted onto
the transom (19) once the boat has been fully infl ated. When
performing the assembly, avoid clamping the fl exible rope
apron (23) between the engine's body and the transom – see
detail C. The battery can be attached to the engine by inter-
lacing the compression strap (used to hold down the packed
boat) with fi xtures (24) – see detail F.
ATTENTION
The maximum operational pressure in the air chambers
is 0.02 MPa. If the ambient temperature increases (e. g.
owing to sunlight), the pressure in the air chambers of
the boat can rise rapidly. We recommend releasing some
air from all air chambers of the boat after pulling it out of
the water. Possible destruction of the air chambers will
thus be prevented.
However, do not forget to continuously monitor the air
pressure in the chambers afterwards, too.
ATTENTION
When using the boat, always seal the valves with their
valve caps. This will keep dirt out of the valves. Dirt can-
cause leaky valve seals.
4. Using the Boat
ALFONSO is a universal, three-seat boat with an open transom
for a multitude of purposes (pleasure cruising, fi shing, etc.).
Whenever the boat is used on waterways, Waterway Traffi c
Rules have to be observed. Operation of
the ALFONSO infl atable boat does not require any licence
provided that the people who operate the boat know the tech-
niques of small boat operation within the scope necessary
for its operation, as well as the valid navigation rules of the
particular country. The design of the boat permits it to be ope-
rated in standing and slow watercourse of diffi culty grades up
to WW2. To drive the boat, use longer canoe paddles, oars
or an engine with a maximum power of 2,6 kW. While riding,
all persons must be seated in their designated positions and
must be wearing life jackets. If water becomes present inside
the boat, remove it by pulling the blanket with fl exible rope (23)
beneath the boat bottom level – see Detail G.
ATTENTION
Prior to every use of the boat, check whether it is nece-
ssary to observe any special regulations, restrictions or
rules connected with the river, surface of water or area in
which you aim to operate.
The boat is not designed to be towed behind motorboats,
nor may it be towed otherwise, dragged or in any way
stressed unusually. Sharp edged and pointed items ca-
rried in the boat must be safely wrapped.
Place all precious items into a waterproof container and
fasten it to the boat.
