To install the PlayGoPools 2200 Sundeck, follow these steps:
1. Ground Preparation: Dig a hole 52" deep and 36" wider than the pool size. 2. Protective Barrier: Apply tar paper to the pool wall that will be underground. 3. Backfilling: Add crushed stone or gravel between the pool wall and ground dirt. Backfill gradually as the pool is filled with water, ensuring the gravel is settled and lightly compacted. 4. Rebar Installation: Drill two holes near the reinforcing bracket to insert rebar into the in-ground buttress. 5. Structural Assembly: Pre-drill holes using a 1/8” drill bit through the pre-drilled 1/4” openings for top ledges. Screw ledges only on the outer/dry side. Repeat for all middle sections. 6. Level Check: Recheck that all wall panels are level and squared. 7. Ledge Covers: Drill one centered hole in four ledge covers (1.5” from the top) and screw them into the corner posts using 1" self-tapping screws.
No concrete pour is mentioned or required for the installation.
