TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The lid won't secure.
Difficult to open the lid.
Steam leaking around the
lid.
Steam leaking around the
floating valve.
(The floating valve is
located under the pressure
regulator, on the inside of
the lid)
The floating valve will not
rise.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The seal gasket is not properly placed.
Floating valve is stuck on the bar.
Floating valve does not drop after
pressure release.
Seal gasket is not placed.
Food stuck in seal gasket.
Damaged seal gasket.
The lid is not properly secured.
Food stuck in the seal gasket of floating
valve.
The seal gasket of floating valve is worn
out.
Too little food and water.
Leakage around the lid or pressure
displaying valve.

SOLUTION
Place the seal gasket in the proper
position.
Push the bar slightly.
Lift up the pressure regulator to release
steam until the floating valve drops,
then turn the lid to open it.
Place the seal gasket.
Clean the seal gasket.
Replace the seal gasket. See page 12
for contact details.
Check that the lid is secured according
to the directions.
Clean the seal gasket of the floating
valve.
Replace the seal gasket of the floating
valve. See page 12 for contact details.
Add food and water according to the
directions.
Send to an authorized Tevo repair
centre. See page 12 for contact details.
