Fault Diagnosis: Water Dispensing Issues
Problem/Report
No Water From
Ambient Valve
No Water From Cold
Valve
No Water From Hot

No Water From
Sparkling Valve.
Cold Water not Cold.
Borg & Overström
Possible Cause
Water Supply turned off.
No Electricity/Power
Supply.
Firstly all as for Ambient
Tap.
Chiller tank frozen -
Thermostat not working.
Chiller tank frozen - Pump
not working.
Leak detector has disabled
dispense operation. (if fitted)
If following normal usage:
follow guide for 'Ambient'
tap.
Button not being pressed
enough.
Controls PCB not working.
Low or no CO2.
Carbonation System
switched off.
Cooling switched off.
Thermostat set too high.
Thermostat not working.
Quick Start Guide
Suggested Action
Check all Taps/valves/ filters on
incoming supply are fitted and are
turned on.
Check power cord connected and
live and machine is switched on.
Carry out checks and actions as
for ambient tap.
Thaw out and check thermostat.
Replace Cold Water thermostat as
needed.
Thaw out and check tank pump.
Replace pump and or check
electricity supply to pump present.
Check for internal leakage, ensure
probes are dry and reset.
Carry out checks and actions as
for ambient tap.
Press button firmly.
Check & replace PCB as
necessary
Check and replace cylinder as
necessary.
Switch on (Switch on back of the
machine).
Check switch positions as neces-
sary.
Decrease Cold Thermostat
set point.
Check & replace as necessary.
