Chapter 2: Overview Avaya Converged Platform overview Avaya Converged Platform is a turnkey hardware solution that is available to all Avaya applications and application requirements. Avaya Converged Platform 100 series offers a single virtualized or bare metal server for delivering Avaya applications and next generation digital transformation for both unified communication and contact center applications. -

The R640 represents updates to the CPU and other server technologies over previous Avaya Common Server releases. It will be used as the base platform for all new Avaya offers. The architecture of the R640 is designed to maximize performance and provide the flexibility to optimize configurations based on Avaya’s applications and customer use cases. - Page 9 Avaya application product, not the server model.
