  • Page 4 INTRODUCTION By using mobile phone technology, ROAD ANGEL PURE also allows you to both share the LIVE locations of mobile safety camera vans. CameraShare™ and is a unique feature to ROAD ANGEL , and empowers you to keep yourself, and other ROAD ANGEL users, safe on the roads.

    OVERVIEW The ROAD ANGEL PURE has two buttons, thus simplifying its operation and helping to avoid the temptation to adjust the equipment while driving. All configuration is done by connecting via your smartphone, PC or Mac, making the menus easier to navigate.

    POWER BUTTONS – CYCLE THROUGH 5 MODES SCREEN 1 In this mode the compass is offset to the top left. Current speed is shown at the top. When the unit picks up the local speed limit this is shown at the bottom. 14:59 SCREEN 2 This mode has your current speed in the middle.

    REGISTRATION 1. Go to www.roadangelgroup.com 2. Click on the Registration link. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions. As part of this registration process, you will be prompted to purchase subscriptions for the Safety Camera, Blackspot and Road Speed limit updates. 4. If you already have a pre-paid subscription, please call us to activate.

    CONFIGURATION WITH SMARTPHONE – FULL 1. Download the ROAD ANGEL App from your smartphone’s App source. (e.g. iTunes or Google Play).

    CONFIGURATION FROM MAC OR PC – FULL Download and install the ROAD ANGEL PURE Update Software from our website www.roadangelgroup.com Tech Support page. www.roadangelgroup.com 1. Click on the Tech Support page www.roadangelgroup.com 2. Download and install the software.
  • Page 43 MAC OR PC – FULL 3. Install the software on your PC by running the .exe file and on a mac by opening the zip file and click on the ROAD ANGEL Updater icon. 4. Select your preferred installation location and then click Next or simply click Next if you are happy with the location automatically selected.

    FAQ’S Q. How long will it take for my ROAD ANGEL PURE to be ready to use? A. The very first time you turn on your new ROAD ANGEL PURE it will take approximately 15 minutes to get a lock on to GPS and our servers, but don’t worry, it will only take this long the very first time.
