Now that you have selected the best location for your CRL Pivot-N-View Mirror you may begin installation.
1. If the mirror is to be placed on a "left wall," no modification to the hinges will be required. To mount on
a "right wall," simply remove the flat hinge screws and reverse the hinges. Both top and bottom should
match.
2. You are now ready to mount the wall brackets. Once the location to mount the mirror has been determined,
use the bubble level and draw a light vertical pencil line on the wall. Then make two short cross lines
23-1/2" (597 mm) apart on the vertical line at the desired mirror height for Cat. No. PV14 Series Mirror,
or 12" (305 mm) apart for the PV11 Series Mirror.
3. Punch a hole through the drywall at each of the marked locations using a #10 nail. Make certain that you
have hit a stud or that you are mounting the mirror into a wood backing. Use the supplied #8 x 1-1/4"
screws to mount the brackets - two screws per bracket. Do not tighten screws.
4. After the brackets are on the wall and in a vertical position with the round end up, adjust the distance
exactly 23-1/2" (597 mm) from the bottom of one clip to the bottom of the other before tightening screws.
5. Install the Mirror on the brackets by sliding the hinges onto the wall brackets. You have successfully
installed your new Pivot-N-View Mirror.
