CLEANING THE POWER HEAD
• Stop the motor and disconnect from power supply.
• Clean dirt and debris from the power head using a
damp cloth with a mild detergent.
NOTE: Do not use any strong detergents on
the plastic housing or the handle. They can be
damaged by certain aromatic oils such as pine and
lemon, and by solvents such as kerosene.
PROBLEM
Motor fails to start when switch
trigger is depressed
Spool cap will not come off
Line does not advance
Motor runs but the spool or
attachment does not run

CAUSE
Power cord is not plugged in
Power cord connection is loose
Receptacle has no power

The spool cap is not being turned
in the correct direction
The inner spool cap bolt may be
stripped, which will not allow the
cap to be removed.
There is no line in the spool
housing。
Line is tangled inside the spool
housing
Motor shaft is not properly
connected to the trimmer shaft.

STORING THE TRIMMER HEAD
• Store the trimmer head in a well-ventilated place
that is inaccessible to children.
• Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden
chemicals and deicing salts.
Attach extension cord
Securely install the power cord to the
trimmer plug
Be sure that the extension cord has
no other connections except to the
trimmer.
The spool cap removes in a clockwise
rotation and tightens in a counter-
clockwise rotation
The spool cap will have to be fully
replaced. To remove the cap if it is
stripped call the toll free customer help

Add new spool line or spool
replacement cartridge
Disconnect the motor shaft assembly,
then reconnect it to the lower trimmer
shaft. Check to see if it works. If
it does not work call the toll free
