    English 1. IMPORTANT – READ FIRST! It is essential that Hero sensor maintains constant contact with baby’s tummy. ALWAYS: Use the correct size diaper (nappy). If it is too loose, Hero may lose contact. Fold the top of the diaper over before attaching Hero Firmly clip Hero clip.
  • Page 5 English Ensure that Hero sits squarely on the diaper, and that the Breathing Sensor (1) is in contact with baby’s tummy. Press the ON/OFF button (6) to start monitoring. Always follow the above procedure to ensure that your baby’s breathing is being monitored, and to prevent false alarms caused by lack of contact with baby’s tummy.

    English 2. Introduction Intended use: Hero is a breathing monitor for the detection of infant breathing cessation. Intended user: This equipment is intended to be operated by the baby’s caregiver. The caregiver must have a good understanding of the instructions and safety measures contained in the user manual.
