12. Rotate shaft (or move sensor) so that
sensor is pointed toward non-
reflective surface.
13. Adjust distance from shaft (1 to 4
inches) and, if required, angle to shaft
(up to 45°) until the gap voltage is +0.5
Vdc or less. See Figure 1-4.
