I bought a L6700 welding helmet, great helmet, went to replace the batteries, now battery light is always on,& can’t get lenses to work. Tried 2 sets of new batteries
If the battery light is always on and the lenses do not work after replacing the batteries on an Eastwood L6700 welding helmet, ensure the batteries are installed correctly with the positive side facing upward. Also, check that the battery covers are securely snapped back into place. If the issue persists, inspect the lens assembly for damage. If it is cracked or broken, do not use the helmet.
