  • Page 2 FITTING PROCESS (Find the parts that fit your crossbars.) ATTACH SMALL BAIL TO INSTALL PADS TO ONE SET OF MOUNTS. BACKBONE. Press a pad into the Press a pad into the backbone. Use the upper hinge slot smaller bail (marked “A”). (You may need to rotate the pad on the backbone.

    ACCESSORY CHART 1. Find your accessory, and follow the diagram. 2. Install the spacer or the adapter depending on your accessory. SNOW* REMOVE THE UPPER PAD BEFORE CONTINUING. SHORT 1. Insert the short carriage bolt into the adapter CARRIAGE BOLT and attach to the accessory using the accessory’s hardware.

LONG CARRIAGE BOLT REMOVE THE UPPER PAD BEFORE CONTINUING. 1. Insert the long carriage bolt through the accessory and (accessory here) into the spacer (your accessory may look different).
  • Page 5 BASKET CASE (cargo): BASKET CASE WIRE CLIP LONG CARRIAGE BOLT REMOVE THE UPPER PAD BEFORE SPACER CONTINUING. 1. Insert the long carriage bolt WASHER through the wire-clip and basket AND NUT loops, into the spacer and backbone. 2. Secure the spacer and basket to the backbone using the washer and nut.

    Yakima product is defective, the customer must return it to an authorized Yakima dealer with proof of purchase. Yakima will then issue authorization to the dealer for the return of these products. If an article is found to be defective upon inspection by Yakima, Yakima will repair or replace the defective article at its discretion without charge.
