Using force can damage the device and voids the warranty. The power connector on the power supply easily inserts into the vision screener.

    Screening subjects Before screening a subject If the pupils are too small, the vision screener displays a notification to adjust the lighting in the room. Follow these steps to encourage the subject's pupils to dilate to 5 mm or greater. 1.

    18 Screening subjects Welch Allyn® Spot™ Vision Screener Model VS100 Subject Information screen You can use the Subject Information screen to enter or verify the subject's data. Date of Birth (or Age) is the only required field.This field displays with a red background if the date of birth (or age) is blank or invalid, or if the subject's age is under 6 months or over 100 years.

    Advanced settings on the vision screener Before configuring network security If the device is configured with your organization's wireless network settings, you can view screening results on a computer. If you want to print screening results, you can connect the device to a USB printer or you can add a wireless network printer. Wireless networks use security to protect your information.
