Before first use
Please note that the slow cooker may produce an odor when switched on for the first
time, as residues from the production process are eliminated. This is normal and does not
indicate a defect or hazard. This faint smell will eventually go away after the first few uses.
Wipe clean all the parts with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIALS TO CLEAN THE SURFACE.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE SLOW COOKER BASE INTO WATER AT ANY TIME.
Assemble all the parts to the slow cooker.
How to use
1. Always set your slow cooker on a level and stable heat resistant surface.
2. Prepare your recipe according to the directions.
3. Assemble your ingredients in the ceramic pot and place the pot into the base.
Cover with the glass lid. If you need to pre-cook or brown foods prior to slow
cooking, this must be done in a pan on the stove, not in the slow cooker.
4. To begin cooking, plug the power cord into an outlet.
5. Select LOW (approx. 105-195°F) or HIGH (approx. 115-205°F) after referring to
specific recipe for precise cooking time. Refer to chart in helpful hints for
approximate temperature according to how many cooking hours.
6. When cooking is complete, the slow cooker will NOT switch to WARM
automatically. Turn slow cooker to OFF or WARM manually.
7. THIS UNIT BECOMES VERY HOT DURING USE AND EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD
BE USED DURING AND AFTER COOKING UNTIL THE UNIT HAS COOLED
COMPLETELY AFTER UNPLUGGING FROM THE OUTLET.
PLEASE NOTE: WARM setting is only used for keeping already cooked food warm
and is not intended for cooking. It is not recommended to use the warm setting
for more than 4 hours.
NEVER CARRY THE SLOW COOKER BY THE HANDLES WHEN THE CERAMIC POT IS
FULL OF HOT FOOD OR LIQUID. ALWAYS USE OVEN MITTS.

To use the Ambiano 7 QT Slow Cooker:

1. Unpack and Clean – Remove packaging materials and wipe all parts with a soft, damp cloth or sponge and warm water. Dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the heating base in water.

2. Assembly – Place the removable ceramic pot into the heating base. Ensure it is completely dry before inserting.

3. Prepare Ingredients – Optionally, pre-brown meat and onions in a separate pan to enhance flavor and reduce fat content before adding them to the ceramic pot.

4. Add Ingredients – Place food and liquids into the ceramic pot. Avoid overfilling.

5. Cover with Lid – Use the tempered glass lid to cover the ceramic pot.

6. Set Cooking Mode – Plug in the slow cooker and select the desired heat setting:
- High: Cooks faster, reaching around 200-205°F in 5-6 hours.
- Low: Slower cooking, reaching around 190-195°F in 5-6 hours.
- Warm: Keeps food warm after cooking.

7. Cooking Time – Allow the slow cooker to run for the required time based on the recipe.

8. Finish Cooking – Turn off and unplug the slow cooker when done. Use oven mitts to handle the ceramic pot as it will be hot.

9. Serving and Storage – Serve food immediately. Do not store food in the ceramic pot in the refrigerator.

10. Cleaning – Let the slow cooker cool completely before cleaning. Wash the removable ceramic pot and lid with warm soapy water. The manual does not specify if they are dishwasher safe.

Always follow safety precautions and avoid placing the ceramic pot directly on a stove or in the heating base when cold.
