Cleaning
Clean the SliceSy
The easiest and safest way to remove a tool (I) from the tool holder
(D) is to push out the tool from behind (fig. L).
Risk of injury by sharp edges/blades and rotating parts.
Tip: All parts of the SliceSy
10/2011). The synthetic parts may become discoloured by certain
foods or spices (e.g. carrots, beets). This is certainly no health
hazard. Depending on the food which caused such discolouration,
cleaning may be done using lemon juice or vegetable oil (some
drops on a cloth) or by soaking in dishwasher detergent.
All parts – except the transmission unit (E) – are dishwasher
proof. The transmission unit (E) is not watertight and should never
be immersed in water or any other liquid. Clean the unit with a
damp cloth.
Do not leave sharp blades in soapy water. Carefully dry
the blade by hand and replace the blade guard imme-
diately.
Please use extreme care when handling all sharp blades.
Please store your SliceSy
