Need help?
Do you have a question about the VITOPEND 100-W and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
How can I use the Vitodend 100 for DHW only. I do not have the need for room heating. Please supply piping diagram for DHW only. Are there settings to accomodate this.
To configure the Viessmann Vitopend 100-W for domestic hot water (DHW) only, the following steps must be taken:
1. Ensure the heating system is turned on using the ON/OFF switch and mains isolator.
2. Enable the DHW heating by adjusting the control unit:
- Set the correct operating program.
- Set the desired DHW temperature.
- Configure the time program for DHW heating.
These settings are made using the control panel as described in the manual (see pages 28–29).
Regarding a piping diagram for DHW-only setup, the provided information does not include or mention such a diagram.
Answer: Configure DHW-only mode by enabling DHW heating, setting DHW temperature, and adjusting the DHW time program. No piping diagram is provided.

@Mr. Anderson Thank you for your response. The system does not see pressure although i have 4.5 bar pressure on the DHW system. Must there be pressure on the room heating system as well.
