Failure
Engine does not start or stops
abruptly.
The high-pressure pump does
not produce the required pres-
sure.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Reason
Machine has run out of fuel
Main or secondary fuse blown
Battery voltage too low.
Emergency stop activated
Too less water in water tank (for cooling
system)
Cooling water-level too low
Temperature of cooling water too high
Water tank empty
Supply valve to water filter closed.
Water filter clogged.
Air in high-pressure pump
Suction valves blocked
V-belt not sufficiently tightened
Suction valves worn out.
Solution
Add fuel
Replace the defect fuse and restart
engine. If problem repeats, contact
your dealer
Load or replace.
Turn the emergency stop in order to be
able to start up again
Fill the water tank and let the machine
cool down. After that one can start the
machine again.
Fill the cooling system at the expan-
sion tank until the right level.
Let the machine cool down
Fill the water tank
Open the supply valve
Stop the machine and clean the water
filter
Allow the machine to run a few min-
utes. The failure will normally disap-
pear. If not, contact the service
department of your dealer
Carefully loosen the valves and
descale them, if necessary
Tighten the V-belt; replace if neces-
sary
Contact the service department of
your dealer.
