Pro Video instruments CONFIGURE TRANSMITTER OUT OF BOX USING REMOTE CONTROL: 1) Power on the unit by connecting the power supply cable. Allow the unit 2 minutes to boot, until the ON LED light is lit solid green, and the On Screen Display shows a number (Transmitter ID, 0 by default). 2) On the Remote, press the POWER and 7 keys together to put the remote in Transmitter Mode.

3) Power on the Receiver and allow to boot. Connect your TV to the receiver via HDMI Out. With the TV set to the HDMI input, you will see the PVI test screen and “Waiting for Transmitter” message. 4) Connect the CAT5e or CAT6 link cable to the UTP LAN ports of the Transmitter and Receiver. Once connection is established, the UTP and LINK lights will be solid.

Pro Video instruments GIGABIT SWITCH CONNECTION GUIDE Gigabit Switch configuration allows you to combine any number of transmitters and receivers that can be supported by your network switch. If using POE, it is not necessary to connect the power adapter of the transmitters or receivers.

Pro Video instruments APPENDIX B: GIGABIT SWITCH RECOMMENDED SETTINGS The VuMATRIX FX system requires that all transmitters and receivers must be connected to the same network (VLAN) with a Gigabit Switch (or switches), and a Gigabit Wi-Fi Router (if using the VuMATRIX FX Control App). The Gigabit Switch MUST support Multicast Layer 2, IGMP, and Jumbo Frames.
