My display is blank, and I'm looking for a 'reset' button. It's supposed to be on the back of the unit, but I don't see it and it's not in the manual

To reset the AcuRite 00515 display if the reset button is not visible, you can remove and reinsert the batteries. This will clear all-time high and low records and restart the display. Make sure to follow the polarity (+/-) diagram when reinserting the batteries.

SETUP Install or Replace Batteries AcuRite recommends high quality alkaline batteries for the best product performance. Heavy duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended. The freezer sensor requires lithium batteries for low temperature conditions. Cold temperatures can cause alkaline batteries to function improperly. Use lithium batteries in the freezer sensor for temperatures below -4ºF / -20ºC.
