To bake a cake in the Salton SEPC01 electric pressure cooker:
1. Prepare the cake batter as usual. 2. Pour the batter into a suitable cake pan that fits inside the inner pot. 3. Add water to the inner pot if required (check recipe or general pressure cooking guidelines). 4. Place the cake pan on a trivet or rack inside the cooker to keep it above the water. 5. HOW TO RELEASE THE PRESSURE Natural Release is recommended when cooking foods that will not have the tendency to over- cook such as potatoes, beans, soups and stews. During the natural release time period, the pressure cooker may still be heated and cook the food slightly. In opting to use the natural release method, you do not move the pressure limiting valve to exhaust immediately after cooking.
