Hi, When I press button of the screwdriver it turn very short rev (40 to 60°) angle and stop. I made sure it is fully charged and still doing the same thing. what could be the problem? do I need to change the battery and how can I do that ? Thanks
The Mac Allister MSSD36T-Li screwdriver may only turn 40 to 60 degrees and stop due to several possible issues:
1. Low Battery – If the battery is not sufficiently charged, the tool may not have enough power to complete a full rotation. Try fully charging the battery (approx. 1 hour).
2. Torque Setting – If the torque setting is too low, the screwdriver may stop when resistance is met. Adjust the torque setting if possible.
3. Mechanical Obstruction – Check if there is any debris or obstruction in the tool socket preventing full movement.
4. Damaged or Worn Battery – If the battery no longer holds a charge properly, it may need replacement. However, the manual states that damaged battery packs should not be serviced or replaced by the user. Instead, contact the manufacturer or an authorized service provider.
First, try charging the battery fully. If the issue persists, check for obstructions or torque settings. If the battery appears faulty, professional service is recommended.
