ThenewBMWX5,withthedevelopmentcodeG05,continuestheseinnovations.Themarket introductionofthefourthBMWX5generationseestheavailabilityforthefirsttimeoftheBack-up Assistant,whichfacilitatescomfortableandautomaticallysteeredreversing.Furthermore,manyofthe assistancesystemsintroducedintheG30acquirenewfunctionsandthushelpthedrivertocontrol thevehicleby: • providingthedriverwithinformation • promptingthedriverwithsuggestions • automaticallyinterveninginthedrivingprocess.
