Page 4: How Does Marmitek X10 Work
HOW DOES MARMITEK X10 WORK? Marmitek X10 components use the existing mains wiring to communicate (using Marmitek X10 signals). You can build a complete system using the three different kind of components of the Marmitek X10 System: 1. Modules: These components will receive Marmitek X10 signals and will switch or dim the attached lamp or appliance. -

In a normal home situation this effect is negligible (the Marmitek X10 system is using active gain control to eliminate the effects). - Page 6 TALK mode (continuous transmission). Page 7: Instructions For Use Ss12™ Wireless Switch
The SS12 wireless switch transmits radio graphical signals to an X10 Transceiver TM13, IRRF7243 or Marmitek X10 Alarm station. Then the Transceiver or Station transmits these signals via the in your house already installed electric wiring. Through this you can switch on and off your lighting (or apparatus) connected to X10 receivers (lighting can be dimmed also). -

Use an identical 12V Alkaline battery (type A23). Mind the polarity when replacing. APPLICATIONS With the Marmitek X10 SS12 wireless switch you can activate pre-programmed macros in the CM15Pro computer interface. You can also use the SS12 as a central operation panel for your Marmitek installation. -

What is the reason for modules to switch on/off spontaneously? It is possible that a Marmitek X10 System is installed at one of your neighbours using the same HouseCode. To solve this problem try to change the HouseCode of your system, or have FD10 Phase Coupler/Filter installed at your incoming mains. -
