MACHINE DESCRIPTION The compact structure of the machine is managed automatically by software that is simple to use and can be easily customized without requiring supervision or control by the operator. All models are capable of filtering lees, must, fruit juice, both still and sparkling wines. OMNIA crossflow filters are essentially composed of filtration unit, a self-cleaning rotating screener with stainless steel brushes, a service tank, a hydraulic system with pneumatic valves, pumps, pressure-switches, flowmeters, sensors, and safety valves.
  • Page 47 42/75 Crossflow filter Pag. 48/75 Crossflow filter Pag. TECHNICAL FEATURES PERFORMANCE The parameters by which OMNIA filter performance are evaluated are: A - Volume of product processed in a determined period of working time. B – The residual quantity of suspended solids present in the product processed. These values can be fixed only with difficulty in most cases, and must therefore be determined case by case because they depend primarily on the type of product to be treated.
