The Bissell QuickSteamer 1950 can be used on bare floors only if it is equipped with the Bare Floor Tool, which is available with select models. It is not recommended for cleaning wood floors and should only be used with BISSELL® Floor Cleansing Formula™ on no-wax floors.

@J Not worried about floor damage. Only concerned with cleaning effectiveness.

If your Bissell QuickSteamer 1950 is not spraying water even after cleaning out clogs, possible causes include:

1. The Dirty Water Tank may not be properly aligned or secured. Check that it is correctly positioned and latched.
2. The Dirty Water Tank may be full. If it is full, empty it.
3. The Clean Water Tank may be empty. Refill it with water and formula.

Check each of these areas to ensure proper operation.

If the water tank only has a little water in it (less than 1/2 tank), does that effect the spray?

Yes, if the Clean Water Tank is empty or has too little water, it can cause reduced spray or no spray from the Bissell QuickSteamer 1950. Refill the tank with water and formula to restore proper spray function.
