Port Forwarding
Port forwarding is an application of network address translation (NAT) that redirects a
communication request from one address and port number combination to another while
the packets are traversing a network gateway, such as the TG3442S. The examples as below
show how port forwarding can be setup on the TG3442S.
Once the pre-defined or customized service (by setting a specific protocol port range) has
been configured, the end-user should next physically connect the LAN device to the TG3442S
port and click on "ADD" button.
