    How to Extend the Wireless Coverage using BR-6208AC / BR-6208ACD Configuration Steps 1. Power on the router, and connect the router LAN port and the computer using the cable. 2. Open the web browser, type edimax.setup on the address bar, and press enter.
  • Page 2 5. Click “ Configuration Tools ”, and you are able to backup and restore settings here. Click “ Save “ at “Backup Settings”, and then click “Save” or “ Save as “ at the bottom of the page. The settings file is saved successfully.
  • Page 3 6. Click Next. 7. Please select the frequency of the router which BR-6208AC / BR-6208ACD will connect to. For example, we will connect to 2.4GHz Router and 5GHz router, so we check Enable 5GHz Enable 2.4GHz. Then click Next.
  • Page 4 8. Select the SSID of 2.4GHz router. Please note that we suggest the signal is greater than 60%. 9. You could modify the SSID of BR-6208AC / BR-6208ACD in the field Device SSID. Enter the wireless security of the 2.4GHz router in the field Security Key.
  • Page 5 10. It will do the testing wireless connection. Please wait for seconds. 11. Click Next.
  • Page 6 12. Select the SSID of 5GHz router. Please note that we suggest the signal is greater than 60%. 13. You could modify the SSID of BR-6208AC / BR-6208ACD in the field Device SSID. Enter the wireless security of the 5GHz router in the field Security Key.
  • Page 7 14. It will do the testing wireless connection. Please wait for seconds. 15. Click Next.
  • Page 8 16. Here is the settings of BR-6208AC / BR-6208ACD. We suggest to click Backup the configuration to save the settings. Then click Next. 17. Please wait for seconds.
  • Page 9 18. Congratulations, you have configure BR-6208AC / BR-6208ACD as repeater successfully.
