- Page 4 3. TDS Background TDS is the abbreviation for “Total Dissolved Solids”. It shows you the number of dissolved particles per 1 million water particles (approx. 1 milliliter). This value is expressedin ppm (parts per million). This offers a simple way to verify the operation of a reverse osmosis system.
- Page 5 4. Instructions • Take a clean glass and fill it will some osmosis water or tap water • Put the TDS meter in the water and press on the ON / OFF button. • Now you can read the measurement – Press the Hold key to save the value.
