Page 7: Charging The Collar Unit
CHARGING THE COLLAR UNIT Indicator Light will blink “Green” under normal operation. Solids “Red” when stimulation is applied. Blinks “Red” when recharging is required. Indicator light will turn solid red during charge cycles and will turn green once it is fully charged. (approximately 2 hours) Special Note about Battery Care Collar Receiver is outfitted with Li-Polymer batteries which requires specific care to assure longevity. -

POWER ON/OFF To turn on the Barkless Pro, press the button for 0.25 second when power is off. Barkless Pro will be turned on with buzzer sound. Initial status is count mode. To turn off the Barkless Pro, press the button for 5 sec when power is on. -

HOW TO PROGRAM 1. Change Mode - When pressing the button shortly, 5 modes (Count Mode, Stimulation Level Setting Mode, Sensor Sensitivity Mode, Pavlovian Tone On/Off Mode, Test Mode) will be cycled in turns. 2. Change Mode Setting - To change the mode setting, press the button for 1.5 second after moving to the mode you want to change. -

STIMULATION LEVELS SETTING MODE Barkless Pro has 10 levels of stimulation mode. L.0 is Tone Only mode. L.1 to L.8 are Stimulation mode and L.9 is Auto mode. - To change stimulation level, press the button for 1.5 second at Stimulation Level Setting Mode. -

SENSOR SENSITIVITY MODE Barkless Pro provides 3 sensitivity modes which are S.L(Low), S.M(Medium) and S.H(High). - To change sensor sensitivity, press the button for 1.5 second at Sensor Sensitivity Mode. LCD display will blink and show current setting value. - Press the button to change the sensor sensitivity. Sensor sensitivity will be switched from S.L to S.H in turn. -

PAVLOVIAN TONE ON/OFF MODE Barkless Pro provides Pavlovian tone on/off function. - Pavlovian mode off (t.0) : Stimulation will be emitted when barking is detected. - Pavlovian mode on (t.1) : Pavlovian tone will be followed by stimulation in 1 second when barking is detected. Page 17: How To Select The Correct Stimulation Level
HOW TO SELECT THE CORRECT STIMULATION LEVEL The lower the stimulation, the better. Always start with level 1 and increase the level should your dog not respond appropriately. Your dog should not vocalize when administered the corrective stimulus. He may twist his head as if a bee was buzzing him. Increase one level at time to prevent over stimulation. -

INDICATOR LIGHT When turned on, Indicator light will be on for 1 second and flicker thereafter. If there is no bark sound for a while, the BP-504 will go to sleep mode and LED is off also. Before the BP-504 goes to sleep mode, LED will flicker based on the battery charge level. -
Page 19: Rrectly Fitting The Collar
CORRECTLY FITTING THE COLLAR The collar should be adjusted to allow the “contact point” to have direct contact with the skin. You should be able to fit a couple of fingers between the collar strap and your dog. Too tight poses the risk of skin irritaion and discomfort. -

REPLACEMENT OF CONTACT POINTS FOR THICKER FUR BREEDS The standard 5/8” contact points are used for most dogs. Thicker fur breeds require the longer 3/4” contact points. ONE YEAR WARRANTY All parts and labor are covered 100% including the rechargeable batteries for a period of one year from the date of the original purchase. The warranty does not cover chewed or damaged product from misuse or neglect. The warrantor has the option to repair or replace the defective product during the one year warranty period.
