1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake.
2. Pull the hood release handle under the lower left corner of the
dashboard.
3. Pull the hood latch lever in the center of the hood to release the lock
mechanism, and open the hood.

One of our FOBs was is inconsistent. Frequently will not open door or start the vehicle. Battery replaced four months ago. There is no battery needs replacement message on the dash. What is the problem and what is the solution?
The problem could be a weak or dead battery in the keyless access remote. The solution is to replace the button battery in the key fob. If the key fob battery is too weak to start the engine or unlock the doors, you can bring the back of the key fob into contact with the ENGINE START/STOP button to start the vehicle. If the keyless access remote does not work, you can use the physical key to unlock the door.
