Engine - gearbox assembly: Removal - Refitting

- the protection and switching unit (see Protection
and Switching Unit: Removal - Refitting) (87G,
Engine compartment connection unit).
a Disconnect the connector (5) from the engine wiring.
a Remove the earth wire nut (6) .
a Move the earth wire away from the left-hand scuttle
reinforcement.
a Remove:
- the max fuse box cover,
- all of the fuses (7) ,
- all of the fuse holders from the max fuse box,
- the bolt (8) from the max fuse box,
- the max fuse box.
a Remove the earth wire nuts (9) .

a Move the earth wires away from the front left-hand
side member.
a Disconnect the automatic transmission computer
connector (10) .
a Unclip the automatic transmission computer wiring.
