To adjust the picture

Press OPTIONS during playback.
The options menu appears.

Select "Video Settings" using M/m, and
press ENTER.
The "Video Settings" screen appears.

Select an item using M/m, and press
ENTER.
The default settings are underlined.

Selects the picture
settings for different
lighting environments.
This setting is selectable
when "Picture Quality
Mode" is set to
"Memory" (see ""Video
Equaliser" elements" on
page 41).
This setting is available
only when video signals
are output from the
HDMI OUT jack (see
""HD Reality Enhancer
(HDMI)" elements" on
page 41).
Reduces the noise in the
picture (see ""NR"
elements" on page 42).

The "HD Reality Enhancer (HDMI)" settings are
individually set during video and photo playback.

• Set the picture setting of your TV to 'Standard'
before changing the "Picture Quality Mode"
settings.
• "Video Settings" is not available when the
connected TV is set to Theatre Mode (page 18).
• Depending on the disc or the scene being played,
"FNR," "BNR" or "MNR" effects may be hard to
discern.
