I BOUGHT THE UNIT USED, I ASSUMED IT WAS ALREADY PRIMED. NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL I ADD WATER TO, THE MACHINE TELLS ME TO ADD WATER.

The Remington iCoffee EXPRESS may indicate to add water even when water is added if the red float ball has not yet reached the "INITIAL PRIME LINE" or if an air bubble is still visible above the float ball. This means the boiler tank is not yet full. Water should be added until the float ball slightly passes the initial prime line and the air bubble disappears. At that point, the user should stop adding water.
