Need help?
Do you have a question about the STICK-DE3 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
Good morning We have a Stick 3 system which is connected to 12 LED strips and we have noticed a slight flicker on all of the LED strips. I can't see anything in the manual to troubleshoot this. Wondering if you know what the problem may be? Thanks
The flicker in the LED strips connected to the Nicolaudie STICK-DE3 system could be caused by several factors:
1. SD Card Issues – The SD card may not be formatted correctly. Try formatting it to FAT16 or FAT32.
2. Show File Corruption – The show file may be corrupted. Re-write the show file and check if the issue persists.
3. DMX Signal Issues – The DMX LED should flicker to the right of the SD card. If it is not flickering correctly, there may be a problem with the DMX signal.
4. Hardware Connection Issues – Connect the controller to a computer, open the Hardware Manager, and check the DMX Input/Output tab. Move the faders to see if the fixtures respond correctly.
5. Faulty SD Memory Card – Try replacing the SD card with a new one to rule out memory card failure.
If none of these steps resolve the flicker, the issue may be related to external factors such as power supply instability or interference in the DMX signal chain.
