Cleaning the Crank

Use rags, with solvent (alcohol etc.) that will not damage the cranks, to clean the part of the cranks
shown in the diagram, and continue cleaning until no dirt is left on the rag after wiping the crank.

Use a new rag to finish up by wiping the cranks dry.
